Iran, UAE Should Promote Bilateral Relations: Minister

TEHRAN Iran and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) should make efforts to promote bilateral ties, said the UAE minister of information and culture in Damascus yesterday. Abdullah bin Zayed al-Nahyan told reporters after his meeting with Syrian Foreign Minister Farouq al-Shara that UAE officials are for constructive and fruitful ties with Iran. He also lauded Qatar and Syria for their role in bringing Iran and UAE positions closer.
