TEHRAN- Rebecca Winter, executive director of Massachusetts 50501, is involved in organizing grassroots efforts to defend democracy and oppose authoritarianism in the United States. The movement, which emerged from a nationwide call for protests in February 2025, seeks to mobilize Americans through demonstrations, boycotts, voter participation and community action.
